Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus! We are so excited to see everyone growing in God and learning how to better follow His direction in this world of confusion. We worship by being in God\u2019s house every Sunday, we worship in our tithes and offerings, we glorify God by encouraging others and leading them to Jesus. One thing we have not done yet as a church is fasting.<\/p>\n

There are many types of fasting (check out FaithPro here<\/a> for more on that ) by generally fasting is not eating food for a period of time so you can make your spirit and soul less sensitive to the desires of your body and more sensitive to the things God is speaking to your spirit. Fasting is not eating off hours, fasting is not eating. There are different ways to do it but they easiest way to hear God\u2019s call to fast is not eating anything for a period of time. Of course, you\u2019ve got to drink water as usual. Some people choose to also drink juices, but avoid anything close to food (smoothies, shakes, and so forth).<\/p>\n

The purpose of the fast is to hear God\u2019s voice, not be religious or call attention to ourselves.
If you would like to join the Victory Word family in our first call to fast, we\u2019ll be fasting from 6pm Sunday, 19 April. For a start, just focus on hearing God\u2019s voice throughout the day of 20 April and we\u2019ll plan to break fast after 6pm on 20 April. Let\u2019s pray for<\/p>\n

\u2022 Revival in Japan and hunger for the things of God to change our nation for good.
\u2022 Direction in each of our lives for the plans, calling and purpose in our lives
\u2022 God\u2019s direction on how to take Victory Word to the next level
\u2022 For healthy, strong faith churches in Japan to increase and be an encouragement to people in Japan both native and from other countries
\u2022 For more people to help with the mass salvations in Japan and teaching them how to walk in the abundance that the Lord Jesus teaches us in the Bible.<\/p>\n
