Praise God! Victory Word Center is GROWING!

Victory Word is a Holy Spirit filled full gospel church just on the North side of Tokyo. In October, we began a weekly prayer meeting on Friday nights. Since then our church has transformed. Our 11am worship service has been running at around 40 people every week from Japan and many other nations.
On 18 January, our lead pastor was led by the Holy Spirit to ask a woman who had been baptized in the Holy Spirit at Friday Night Prayer (FNP) to share what happened to her. Instead of waiting until after the message to share, pastor asked here to come up right after the praise and worship band finished. She talked about what happened to her on Friday night. It completely ‘wrecked’ the service. When a Holy Spirit filled church talks about getting wrecked, we are saying that everything that was planned changed as the church yielded to the direction of the Holy Spirit.

The Victory Word church family member shared how God had delivered her from attacks on anxiety and fear that had been plaguing her for years. It was powerful. Pastor’s wife came forward to share about when she was first saved and at her university in Los Angeles, she came under demonic attack. In Japan, it is called “KANASHIBARI” when a person senses a demonic attack and cannot move. Mariko shared how when she called on the name of the Lord Jesus, she was able to get free.

The testimonies of these two ladies wrecked the church. Pastor Mariko invited people to come forward and get prayer to break familiar spirits (demons) connections, addiction, and any other attacks against people. It was a powerful time of prayer and many people were set free.

The anointed services at Victory Word of 18 January continued on 25 January. Victory Word is a house of prayer. Four more people accepted Jesus, got saved, and were born again. Pastor Mariko shared a brief message, and Pastor Spencer followed up sharing on your identity in Christ. It was a powerful time. Victory Word is growing and now looking for more space to seat 100 people. Revival has hit Japan!
