Day One of the Word and Faith Conference was powerful! We enjoyed praise and worship from the team at Amazing Grace Church in Fujisawa. They really know how to worship and praise the Lord. Band members from the VWC added a few instruments that made it a powerful time for both session 1 and session 2 of the conference.
In session 1 Pastor Jefter of Word of Life Church Tokyo shared about walking in love and faith. He encouraged us to forgive those who did anything against us in the past. He also reminded us to always speak positive of people. That we should stop thinking negative tings about people but change that to see people through God’s eyes. We don’t always know what is happening with people so we have to give them some grace just as God does for us.
Day one was powerful with people from all over Japan (Tokyo, Ibaraki, Yamanashi, Yokohama, Fujisawa, Saitama, Chiba, Hiroshima), Brazil, the Philippines, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and the United States (Alabama, Washington). Where are all our Australians? HA! Pastor Spencer shared that each day will grow more and more and they we will get three (if not more) things from God if we make time to be at the Word & Faith Conference
- Healing- physically, spiritually, and mentally
- Guidance- A word from the Lord for your life personally as you listen to the Word of God from these four anointed teachers because faith grows by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
- Fellowship- You are going to meet many other great people who have a passion for God and a passion for people. Create your network of Christian friends from churches around Japan and even other nations around the world
We are totally stoked for Day TWO! Drop all your plans and get into the House of God this NEW YEAR!
PS. Following the end of Session 2, Pastor Jefter prayed for the sick and injured. An amazing praise report we have is that Pastor Spencer, had lost his voice and was at about 20% its normal power, got prayed for as well at the end of Session 2. The medical advice was that it would not be until 4 or 5 January before he got his voice back. By faith, Pastor Spencer helped with interpretation and worship and by faith Pastor Spencer’s voice dramatically improved. Let’s see how good God is in healing us as we see Pastor Spencer at day two!
