In May, the Bible Study Fellowship begins a dive into the Books of Acts. Some call it the Acts of the Apostles, the disciples of Jesus. But really Acts should be called the Acts of the Holy Spirit. Or better yet, the acts of the Apostles enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible’s Book of Acts is a book of transition. It shows the transition of miraculous power of Jesus to the newly established church that the Lord Jesus founded. Acts combines the real life stories of the Bible’s New Testament, with the fundamental teaching of God in the letters (or epistles) of Ephesians, Philippians and so forth.
