People at Victory Word Center are excited about the Year End activities at Victory!
We heard seven great messages on the Elite Force. You can hear them in Japanese or English here . We learned how important the church is to the Lord Jesus. This Sunday, Pastor Spencer started a new series He asked people if they wanted to have more power in their Christian lives. The answer from those present was a resounding “Yes!”. He explained that understanding and operating in spiritual gifts is key to a powerful church family.
The Bible tells us clearly that we are to desire spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12:31. However must churches are in one of three categories
1) Some outright don’t believe in spiritual gifts of the Bible
2) Others believe in the gifts on paper or at least in theory
3) But powerful believers desire and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We’re excited to hear more about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and walk in them.
We are very excited about our annual Thanksgiving service! This year our theme is
“So Thankful”
What are you so thankful for? Your health, family, restored relationship, healed body, your relationship with Jesus.. There is so much!
We’ll be opening at 11AM with the usual great worship, that will be followed by pastor briefly sharing with us. Then we will have an open microphone for Victory family members to share what they are “so thankful” for. Thanksgiving is one of pastor’s favorite celebrations at Victory. There will also be special presentations of dance and song!
Following the sharing, we’re going to party. Bring your favorite food dish of spaghetti, sushi, casserole, salad, dessert, whatever you like and share it at the Thanksgiving Feast!
