This Saturday we will be having our monthly Champions meeting for men at 7AM at the Sengendai McDonalds. Following that meeting, we will have our first Victory Planning meeting.
The Victory Planning meeting is open to those who are regular attenders of Victory Word Center and would like to be a part of setting the direction and planning the events at Victory.

9AM-1030AM Victory Planning Meeting
**Please note that the Planning Meeting is not a Bible study or service, it more for us to get organized and reach more people for Jesus. If we need more space than the restaurant has, we will walk down to the church building for the 9AM meeting. Hallelujah!
This Resurrection Day (AKA Easter), we had a fantastic service. Pastor Spencer taught on the happenings at the grave of Jesus Christ and how Rez Day is the most important celebration to us all. Jesus brought life to us.
Following the service, we went to a local school and did a Water Baptism for those who wanted to go. It was so exciting as 11 people were baptized. This was our biggest baptism ever.
It is so wonderful to see people coming to Jesus, accepting the work He did, and developing a relationship with God. Jesus said that He came to bring life, and not just that eternal life, but life ABUNDANTLY. Hallelujah!
Easter is absolutely the most important holiday in the world. Why? This is the Sunday in the Spring each year we set to celebration the resurrection. What is resurrection? It is the coming back from the dead.
Jesus the Christ (Messiah) was crucified by the religious people through the Roman hanging a person on a cross. His body was taken down and put into a tomb.
On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead. He appeared to hundreds and told them to tell the whole world,
1) God loves them and has a plan for them
2) Turn away from your sin
3) Come to God by accepting the work of Jesus.
Jesus died and went to hell for us so that we never have to. Jesus made us right before God. Hallelujah! Easter is Resurrection Day!

If you have not been baptized, bring a swimsuit and a unbranded or simple (preferably white) t-shirt to wear and towel. Get baptized and declare your covenant with God through Jesus.
Following the baptism at the local pool, we will be swimming and enjoying the pool together. Bring a suit and a towel!

This Friday, we are pleased to welcome everyone to “Victory Theater”. We’ll start at 730PM. We’ll be pulling out the popcorn and watching the movie, Joseph, King Of Dreams together.
We’ll discus the movie and have a great time of fellowship following.
Come enjoy time together with us. If you don’t know Japanese, now is your chance. Victory is a strong faith church and the life of Joseph is a great testimony to what we can all do when we’ve got that strong faith that pleases God.
