Undergraduate Coursework

Undergraduate coursework is split into four programs made up of 9 3-credit courses plus a 3-credit ministry practicum totaling 30 credits per program. At Main Campus, each of these programs is completed within a single year. Online students complete them more quickly or slowly since they are working at their own pace.

Programs #1-3 are standard for all students. In Program #4 (senior year), students have a choice of majors.

  • All undergraduate students are required to complete Program #1 courses either by class instruction or by transfer from an approved institution.
  • Students who do not have proof of high school graduation will receive a certificate of completion for each 30-credit program completed. Any such student who can later send proof of high school graduation or equivalency to their student advisor will be upgraded to degree-student status. A Life Christian University diploma/degree and transcript commensurate to the student’s academic standing will then be awarded.
  • The senior-level degree tracks listed above are those currently available through LCU Online TM. The specialized degrees available through attendance at a physical campus location vary from campus to campus, depending upon the faculty available to them. Every LCU extension campus offers the Theology track, regardless of whatever other specialized degrees they are qualified to offer.
